Power Electronics

We have designed special Power-Supplies and DC-DC -converters for various applications.
Demanded specifications not found in off-the-shelf supplies are:
Power-efficiency, low noise, ripple and emission, high Isolation or Modulation-bandwidth.

AC-DC-converters

Low emission, synchronous rectifiers have been made for ´wireless-energy'-receivers and high-isolation power-supplies.

Class D Amplifiers

As demonstration project, we have been working on Class-D amplifiers since 1991. In 2000 we started the project LPC1, a Class-D Amplifier for full-range 1kW audio in which a high power efficiency is combined with a surprisingly good sound quality.

LF and RF magnetic field generators

Robust, rigid and efficient RF-power-generators have been designed for various applications.

Examples are:

• A deactivator for soft tags with a crystal RF-generator, 2 kW at 7-10 MHz, developed for Nedap Retail Support.
• Efficient RF-generators for magnetic fields in Wireless Energy or Inductive Heating.
• Clean low-power transmitters and modulators for Telemetry, long-range-RFID and Inductive Detection Systems.
